Safari Diaries: Leopard Beach

The hippos have a visitor.
This leopard only drinks at the river when the lagoons have dried up.
These stealthy spotted cats don’t often venture out into the open,
and she is on high alert.
She knows when to retreat from the water’s edge,
but the leopardess has no intention of leaving the riverside.
With a safe distance from the hippos behind her,
her resting spot provides a great view of the plains inland.
Her moment of relaxation will end soon.
She’s on the lookout for prey…
